Part 1 - Stress: Stop the madness.
How many times a day do you question your ability to sustain the demands of everyday life? Many women feel like it is a zero sum game. The majority of our efforts involve personal sacrifices in helping others with marginal regard for focusing on our own happiness. Discover how to put yourself back on the priority list. It can be done.
Main speaker: Jean Tully
Jean Tully is a psychotherapist who has been helping women reach their goals with her essential insights and guidance for the past decade. . She understands the complex process of change from her own personal experiences. Jean replaces clinical babble with pragmatic solutions to attain a rewarding life. She believes that individuals need to be advocates for their happiness.
The workshop will begin with an exploratory conversation in an open circle followed by constructive feedback on the elements of stress and useful strategies to manage it.
The Event will include guest speakers as well to demonstrate practices that can be useful on a daily basis.

She teaches the principles of yoga through asana, meditation and mindfulness, and infuses her classes with compassion and supportive ways to incorporate these tools into a balanced and joyful life.
Yoga and meditation can significantly improve the focus of the mind and give an overall sense of well-being. Studies have shown benefits include lowering blood pressure, gaining flexibility and strength, reducing anxiety, and improving a positive attitude.
Julie will discuss postures and breath practices we can do both on and off the mat to keep the mind and body happy and healthy.
